Can’t seem to remember that obscure court ruling? Not sure about a specific law on the books in Iowa? Look no further than the second floor of the Iowa State Capitol. This is the Iowa State Law library.

It’s main feature (besides hundreds of thousands of books) is a pair of spiral staircases on the North and South ends of the library. The rest of the library is finished in beautiful mosaic tiles, rich woods and amazing lighting fixtures. This place is immaculate – and beautiful.

Someday, I want to try and get to the top of one of those bookshelves and shoot here again.
